Mick Semb Wever

Mick is an Apache Cassandra committer and previous PMC Chair of multiple Apache projects. An avid open source contributor where ever the itch scratches, recently writing the Spring-AI Vector store for Cassandra, DSE and Astra DB. Apache Cassandra has proven itself to be the most relevant and performant Vector database of all thanks to the innovation gone into the JVector library. As an engineer on DataStax database internals, Mick has worked closely with the largest companies around the world building their GenAI apps and building out their AI-capable data platforms.
